Cameron Balloons Maintenance Courses

NEW DATES FOR 2017 - 28th & 29th November 2017

The Cameron Balloons Maintenance Course is ideal and beneficial for; existing or training pilots, civil aviation authority personnel, Cameron Balloons representatives and for experienced balloonists who would like to refresh their balloon maintenance skills.

The course is run by Cameron Balloons experienced staff, overseen by Cameron Balloons' Production Director Lindsay Sadler.

On completion of the course you will receive a Cameron Balloons certificate which will list the level and skills you have attained.

The 2 day course (8.30am to 4pm each day) costs £400.00 inc.VAT and will start promptly at 08.30am (GMT) on both days.

Please note, being a Cameron Balloons certificate holder does not permit you to be an approved inspector nor an approved repair station.
A non-refundable deposit of £145 per person secures each place with the balance due 1 week before the course begins.
Please note all places on the maintenance course are on a 'first-come-first-served' basis.

Extra Course Facts
The course covers basic permitted maintenance, using a practical hands-on approach to training, for a range of topics in the Cameron Balloons Maintenance Manual.
Please note, being a Cameron Balloons certificate holder does not permit you to be an approved inspector nor an approved repair station.

Course study materials and practice equipment will be provided by Cameron Balloons Ltd.

Buffet lunches each day are also included in the course fee.

The will be a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 18 delegates per course. (Usually groups of 6 to 8 to each of the three course workshops).

We are delighted to provide information and suggestions about local accommodation but please note this is not included in the course fee.

The UK requires some country nationals to obtain a visa in order to travel the UK - if you need a formal letter of invitation please email a copy of your passport and the scanned letter of invitation document, will be emailed to you, covering the dates of the course.

Lastly, if you would like a meeting with the Cameron Balloons Sales team or would like to collect any spares while you are here - To avoid delays, please do let us know in advance and we can get them all ready for your departure.

Driving - for directions - please enter BS3 4NH into your SatNav, once arrived, please report to Reception
(We also have free car parking on site for course candidates, please ask for a car parking space from Reception) 

By Train - Bristol Temple Meads (from London Paddington) is the nearest Train Station - we are about 20minutes walk or 8 minutes by taxi away.

From the Airport - There are direct bus and coaches to Bristol from Bristol Aiport (which is actually about 40minutes outside of Bristol) and Heathrow Airport (under 2hours away) From Bristol central Coach Station it is a short taxi-ride or a half hour stroll to the factory.
